"Ceramic tint in August was a game changer. The car is actually cool when I get in it now. No color shift either, it's clear."

Window Tinting
Professional film installation that reduces heat, UV, and glare, installed to NY legal limits.
The Service
What Is Window Tinting?
Window tinting is the application of polyester film to the interior surface of automotive glass. Film varies by visible light transmission (VLT%), heat rejection, and UV blocking. Quality film is optically clear, doesn't bubble or purple with age, and is installed to New York State legal specifications.
The Film Matters
Carbon vs Ceramic
At the same darkness, both films look nearly identical from outside. The real difference is what you feel in the cabin and what the film blocks in the light you can't see.

Why It Matters
Key Benefits
Heat Rejection
Quality tint film rejects significant solar heat, reducing interior temperature and air conditioning load.
UV Protection
Blocks up to 99% of UV radiation, protecting occupants and preventing interior fading, cracking, and discoloration.
Glare Reduction
Reduces eye strain from direct sunlight and oncoming headlights in low-light conditions.
Privacy & Security
Reduces visibility into the vehicle, deterring opportunistic theft and providing occupant privacy.
Our Process
How It's Installed
Glass Prep
All glass is cleaned, decontaminated, and inspected for damage or delamination before film is cut.
Film Cutting
Film is cut to exact vehicle patterns using precision digital templates.
Application
Film is applied to the interior glass surface using slip solution and squeegee technique, eliminating bubbles.
Cure
Film requires 3–5 days to fully cure. Minor haze during cure is normal and resolves completely.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked
What's legal in New York State?
NY law requires the windshield and front side windows to allow at least 70% VLT, with non-reflective tint permitted on the top 6 inches of the windshield. For sedans and passenger cars, rear side windows also need 70% VLT minimum. For SUVs and trucks, rear side windows can be any darkness. The rear windshield can be any darkness as long as the vehicle has outside rear-view mirrors on both sides.
How long does window tint last?
Quality film lasts 10+ years without fading, bubbling, or purpling. We use professional-grade film exclusively.
Will tint interfere with my defrost or antenna?
No, film is applied without disrupting defrost lines. Factory rear window elements are fully preserved.
How do I care for new tint?
Avoid rolling windows down for 3–5 days during cure. After that, clean with a soft cloth and ammonia-free glass cleaner.
