Lake Grove is essentially in our backyard. From Smith Haven Mall the drive is seven minutes down Middle Country Road (Route 25); from the residential north end near Stony Brook University it is about ten. Most Lake Grove appointments we book happen same-day because the distance is basically nothing.
Two kinds of Lake Grove clients make up most of our schedule. The first is parents of Stony Brook University students who want paint protection, a ceramic coating, or window tint on a vehicle heading back to campus. The second is local homeowners coming in for ceramic coating or interior detailing on family SUVs; this group tends to return annually for a maintenance wash and refresh.
Because the drive is minimal, Lake Grove clients often use us for smaller add-on work too: headlight restoration on an older car, a single-panel PPF install for a curb-rashed bumper, caliper refresh before summer. Do you handle single-panel PPF or just full-vehicle installs?
Both. Single-panel PPF is common for chip-zone repairs on bumpers, hoods, or door edges. If you have a specific area of damage, we can quote a single-panel install rather than steering you to a full-front package.
Can you work around a Stony Brook University student's schedule?
Yes. Short-window drop-offs for parents of students coming home on break are common. Book ahead and we can line up a one-day service that fits the break window.
Can I walk or Uber home while the car is in the studio?
Lake Grove is too far to walk comfortably but an Uber or Lyft is a five-minute ride. Several Lake Grove clients drop off in the morning, ride home, and come back for pickup the same day.
