Caliper Painting

High-temp brake caliper paint applied with precision masking, no overspray, no bleed.

The Service

What Is Caliper Painting?

Caliper painting is the application of high-temperature automotive paint to brake calipers in a chosen color. Calipers are masked in place or removed for thorough prep and application. Properly prepped and painted calipers hold color through normal street driving without peeling or fading.

Why It Matters

Key Benefits

Visual Impact

Colored calipers visible through open-spoke wheels are one of the highest-impact visual upgrades available.

High-Temp Formulation

Paint rated for brake service temperatures, won't peel, crack, or discolor under normal street use.

Corrosion Protection

Sealed caliper surfaces resist the rust and surface corrosion that affects unpainted iron calipers.

Color Options

Available in any automotive color, classic red, yellow, blue, or custom-matched to the vehicle.

Our Process

Masking Is Everything

Clean lines come from clean prep. Every rotor, hub, and brake pad is masked before a drop of paint is applied.

Masking

Rotors, pads, and brake lines are carefully masked. Where possible, calipers are removed for best results.

Surface Prep

Calipers are cleaned, degreased, and sanded to remove rust, old paint, and contamination.

Primer & Paint

Primer coat applied, followed by color coats of high-temp caliper paint.

Clear Coat & Cure

Clear coat is applied for protection and gloss. Paint cures fully before the vehicle is driven.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

How long does caliper paint last?

With proper prep and quality paint, 3–5 years under normal street conditions. Track use shortens this due to sustained high heat.

Can any caliper be painted?

Most OEM and aftermarket calipers can be painted. Heavily rusted calipers may need additional prep work.

Do I need to remove the wheels?

Yes, wheels are removed for proper access and masking. This is included as part of the service.

Long Island Expertise

SERVING LONG ISLAND

Caliper painting is one of the fastest ways to change the visual character of a vehicle, and Long Island's enthusiast market has a strong appetite for it. The Island's car culture runs hot, from the Ronkonkoma area cruises to the Huntington and Melville weekend car scenes, and color-matched calipers are a fixture of that culture. We paint calipers in any high-temperature formulation color, from factory reds and yellows to custom colors matched to interior accents or body paint.

Our Ronkonkoma studio handles caliper painting for customers across Nassau and Suffolk County, same-week turnaround in most cases. Every job includes complete rotor and hardware masking, a high-temp primer coat, and color application that's built to survive the heat cycling that Long Island stop-and-go traffic generates. If you're combining caliper painting with a ceramic coating appointment, we coordinate the sequence so wheel clearcoat and caliper finish both cure properly.

Coverage Area

Located at 1951 Ocean Ave, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779.
